In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to take an Excel spreadsheet and upload it to Google Drive, converting it to a Sheets-friendly file. This is thanks to Sheets' ability to upload your own Excel spreadsheets and convert them for use inside the browser. You don't have to choose between using Excel and Sheets for working with spreadsheets.
